I am huge fan of Ronnie but why does always let his legion of fans down especially me who travelled 300miles to see him in action?

  1. I just asked a similar question. I was gutted to see it happen, but think how he must have been feeling inside, as it's been pointed out he is a manic depressive. I do appreciate what you say about travelling to watch him & can only imagine how many complaints there will be from the paying public, however we should spare a thought for the bloke who's world, no matter how rich & famous he is must be in tatters. Ronnie was in no fit state to be playing today John Parrot said he was all over the place in the venue.Whereas a couple of days ago against maguire he was laughing & playing up behind parrots back. his mood swings must be completely un-controllable.     Get well soon Ronnie snooker needs the talent.

  2. I feel for the fan and also for ruining the game of true gentleman but in saying so I also recognised that if you have some sort of depression or any sort of sickness disorder , the attack could  take place at any time and when it does the only thing you could do is either walk out or stop whatever you doing and try to console yourself. There is no one more disappointed then himself for walking out during a match because of his mental state at the present time. Only a sufferer would understand what he is going through. I do hope he gets treatment and gets back into the game again.

  3. i feel for the fans like yourself who paid good money to see the match you should get a refund. Its well known that Ronnie has his own demons to conquer, and i think the snooker board should do him a favour by banning him till he gets help.Although Scottish and a Hendry fan i would not like to see Ronnie end up like the other snooker genius Alex Higgins

  4. hmm? he walked out?!?!

  5. I don't think there is much you can say, the man is ill.

  6. it wasn't right. it was disrespectful for his fans. for me :(( he's a great player, but his temper...

  7. Ronnie battles with bouts of depresion and is obvously suffering at this moment as was evident from his refusing to give iterveiws, the lack of fluid play and there was none of the normal flamboance.  Yes you traveled a long way but his fans mean so much to him that he wasnt prepered to stay out there and give a **** performance.  He has appoglogised and he knows he has let people down and the rest is for Ronnie to work out but he will be back.

  8. he just needs time to sort his head out

  9. if you were so bothered about it then why didn't you stand up and shout, 'oi, come back you tosser and play this game out'

  10. who

  11. i think he did the right thing...conceded politely and didn't do anything stupid....the only reason the governing bodies want to fine him is because of money, they are worried about sponsors etc and not the sport.....they should applaud him for not hitting out and handling it well

  12. Why cant snooker walk out of television, forever.

  13. Absolutely not, it was a disgrace, (not to mention the childish behaviour behind John Parrot 2 days before)

He should be severely reprimanded by world snooker and if he throws his toys out of the pram and threatens to retire I have one message for him  (**** off ronnie, try and join your dad)

  14. Yes,it can be expected every now and then, because that is what a NUTTER will do.

  15. i feel sorry that the lad let genuine fans down but ronnie as a lot of issues he is the best snooker player ive ever seen and ive  watched them all since the 60s sorry for all his fans but if he ever realy gets his head together i am sure he would reign supreme for years  anyway lots of luck happy xmass

  16. yes he has every right to concede as does any player of any sport its part of the game always has been always will be regardless of how anyone else feels about it

  17. I think the gesture of Ronnie was inexcusably, especially he is a great champion. Also, he disregard Hendry, another great champion.
