OMG I just watched the video and at first thought it was a doll. I can't believe they get away with things like that. I know their culture is different from ours,but throwing your baby 50ft for luck. I am surprised their hasn't been any accidents. If their was would we even know about it, probably not.

Babies don't "enjoy" getting water on their heads at Christenings, but I did it twice to mine.

Its their tradition, I wouldn't do it, but no baby has ever been harmed, so live and let live I say.

They are seeking good luck by risking injury to these little people. Who knows what damage is done to those babies minds by the experience of being thrown down by someone they trust.  The perpetrators  should be arrested and forced to seek their luck in getting out of prison.

It was on the news this morning, after the first baby was tossed, I could not watch anymore.  My stomach started churning.  All I could invision was a snapped neck.  Those babies should be handled with loving care and throwing them was not safe.

I watchd this on the news last night.  This has obviously been going on for many hundreds of years and is a ritual that seems to not harm the children.

Personally i would be terrified droppin a child from 50ft but each to their own.

That is not right and is barbaric tradition as unsafe.  What if they did not catch them right?  What if their necks got broken.

Am kinda speechless as is madder than Michael Jackson as someone else said earlier, the world never ceases to shock me,  am in disbelief at that.
