I think it was so unfair! They got the same scores, and the judges weren't all very experienced! I wish she got a gold medal too!

  1. quit whining.

  2. just not fair is it ??

  3. It is NOT unfair.  I love Nastia.  But she had more deductions.  That is the tie-breaker rules.  It has nothing to do with the lowest scores.

She won the most important event anyway, the individual all around.

  4. true that.

  5. I wouldn't say it was unfair... the tie-breaking system was pre-developed and made a lot of sense. I'll admit that both routines were very entertaining; however, I definitely thought Nastia's routine was better executed than He's (who, might I add, looks nowhere CLOSE to her supposed age). Perhaps revisions will be made to the tie-breaking system after what unfolded last night... it would make more sense to make them do a tie-breaking routine next time!

  6. Yes, it is unfair. They should have handle the case better by giving 2 gold medals. Just like in the case of women's 100m where 2 Jamaican was given the silver medals for clocking the same time.

  7. allyaffliction, you sounds knowledgable on gymnastics, can you analysis the reasons for a low B score for the Bronze medalist?

    Thanks

  8. No, because I actually understand the rules of gymnastics. You haven't been able to win double gold in gymnastics since the IOC implemented tie breaker rules in 1997 and He got lower deductions, so she won. And if I'm being crictical Nastia's routine wasn't as good as everyone is claiming anyway, every single time Nastia upstarts to handstand on this rountine, forward giants or pirouettes her legs separate, EVERYTIME, that's point one. And every time she swings down and straddle's to miss the bottom bar both of her knees bend, again point one. Although He caught dead, she rarely broke form, it just shows you how shapes, lines and absolute perfect form make such a difference - take the dismount, He took a step, but her legs were together and her toes were pointed, Nastias legs were very very cowboyed and her toes were flexed.

I wish people would stop whining, nobody likes the new rules things were better before 2005 but it's not unfair.

  9. Absolutely unfair. Nastia's second lowest score was higher than He Kexin's, so they took away more of Nastia's points, and He ended up with more after three scores were taken away.

  10. Judges in gymnastics have given many, many unfair scores. That by far was the most unfair thing they have done.

  11. Unfair? Are you kidding?

Just look Liukin's frog legs when she finished. The score she got is overweight her performance.

Another girl, Johnson, should get gold medal in all round if she be treated fairly.

  12. It was either Nastia or Yang that should've gotten the gold, He should've gotten bronze..
