Do you think it would be possible for Carlos Zambrano to play in the A.L as both a pitcher and D.H?

It would be incredibly fun to watch but it couldn't happen. The guy is a beast though.

it would definatly be possible but it would never happen. A manager, A GM, a front office would not allow it. there would be too big of injury risk to him on the bases or getting hit in the elbow.  Also, he hits good when he's in the game pitching but that doesn't mean he'd be better than a .200 hitter while he sits the bench cold 45 minutes between at bats watching.

No. It wouldn't be out of the question for him to pinch hit once in a while (its been done in the AL before), but being a DH on a regular basis would never work since his arm needs to rest. Not to mention the fact that he could get injured. And his arm is worth more than his bat.
