Do you think it would be possible to make Stephen King's The Dark Tower into a movie?

Well it would be possible, whether or not it would be any good though is another story. I've seen this idea tossed around a lot on imdb.com. some people think the best way to do it would be in a 'lord of the rings' format. I don't know though, it would be too hard to do the series justice... There's so much to work with, so much to include, and so much pressure for it to be good. I pity the person that attempts to do it successfully.

They have done it for the screen and TV and they suck....the next one they make will suck too..

I doubt it could be done as a movie, the Dark Tower is too complex for one movie.

It would require a series of movies and I doubt any film company would commit to that.

It probably have to be done as a TV mini-series for it to find its way on screen, like The Stand.
