i was trying to make a pasta primavera (sorta like it)

but i had a frozen bag of mixed vegetables (red, green, yellow bell peppers chopped, onions chopped)

but inorder to get some of the bitter taste out of the onions, or i might just omit them

i would slightly sautee the vegetables and mix them with the pasta later on

do you think it would be weird if the vegetables were slightly limp

or would you rather have pasta primavera (something like it) with crisp vegetables (they're in a frozen bag)

but i'm cooking for my family and my friend's family and we're both asian

my parents don't mind but im not sure about my friend's family, causee we asian people don't like that sour things (:

THANKS!

  3. well since they are frozen, once you defrost them, they are going to be limp anyways. The only way you will get a crisp texture from a vegetable is to buy it fresh. Otherwise, i would omit the onions and sauté them a bit before adding

  4. I think sauteing the vegetables and onions would bring out more flavor, that's what I would do.

  5. I personally like onions, but I think you should sautee the veggies.
