It's easy for some people to hate on others then to loove or like them which is pretty sad when you think about it. But for me I'd rather love or like people then to hate them as to me hatred takes alot more effort and energy then love does.

I think trying to be liked is the easy road. It's not difficult to tell people what they want to hear. Telling people what you think, even when you know it won't be received well, isn't always comfortable.
