i notice all my friends are smart

and i got math enrichment im good at everything else except for math

im going to 8th grade and i got math enrichment

its the retarded math class

if i make decent grades in math this year will i get back on track?

like regular math class and then in high school i'll take algebra 1 instead on intro math

All you can do is try your best. If you try, no one can ask more of you than that. Keep on going and you should improve if you keep to it. Its not embarrassing if you don't think it is.

last year i was in dumb reading. it embarrest me tooo. but if you work really hard youcan get out to it. this year im in advanced reading

You also need to study grammar and punctuation.

Not everyone can be good at math. I'm sure there are other subjects you are good at.

It is not embarrassing!  In sixth grade i was in accelerated math, but the lack of time with my teacher just made me terrible and unwilling to work with math anymore. That's why I wasn't so good. On seventh grade I wasn't in accelerated anymore, and my teacher was such a great teacher, my average went up from an 76 to a 99 :) Sometimes if you have a good teacher it is much easier for you. Don't worry, some people are good at some things and other people are good at others. You will be fine, just focus on what you want and work hard :)

Let me tell you something. Up until I was close to graduating high school. I didn't care for math at all. Now I am a double major in CS and applied math.

You might want to consider taking up math for yourself. Learn about it independently; it's more fun that way, plus you are your own teacher. Alternatively, try a tutor, or one of your friends. They might be able to explain things in a way that really makes sense. Find applications regarding things that you like, as this makes the process more engaging and concrete (i.e., you'll have real-world examples to anchor your thoughts in).
