  1. Yes, but even if they open 30% other races will still choose other uni/ college.

  2. don care la that...

  3. Why only 10%? How about open it to ALL MALAYSIANS who deserve to be in there?

How is there to be racial unity, when even a suggestion by the MB will spark protests & possible lawsuit?

What is this? Stop all this 'ketuanan' bulls**t...all races are to be treated the same cos they are ALL MALAYSIANS.

  4. thank you for bergaduh like orang buduh and hina hina sana sini. thank you all. i will remember this day.

  5. The problem is we don't have enough universities for all in Malaysia ...

Imagine if you we have an environment in Malaysia whereby anybody,  regardless of race, academic result and age, can still further their studies up to university level ... as long they have the stamina lah ... i.e. like 8 years for a degree in Science (Honours or no honours another story lah) ... if like this, where got quarrel anymore ?

Of course then we will say the quality of the graduates might be no good but then, th good ones will be those with 1st class & 2nd cl;*** honours ... overall it will be good for Malaysia too... imagine the tukang sapu or tukang masak pun got degree ... like that baru lah we all can become developed nation ... lol

So, the Government should 'expand' theuniversities rather than limit this and that ....

  6. ok fair and lovely ...

Ginduras: oh really? on paper isn't it ... what about the corrupted UMNO personnel ... so far as i am concern one of them is the richest above Robert Kwok ... and Lim Goh Tong is at no. 10 ... but yeaa ... he fail to declare his properties ... and we know who ... we know about his foreign accounts (thanks to Intelligence Bureau) ... and do u think best student will become rich? ... maybe la ... or maybe not since u so obsessed with the late Tan Sri Lim ... he never been to any university ... and Ananda Krishnan ... you should read the real story how he is connected with Raja Abdullah and Dr. Mahathir ... and why or how he owns the most expensive land in Malaysia ...

Going back to Uitm ... 10% or 20% who cares ... if you are good you can compete and be on top no matter the quota limit ... the small group of protester from Uitm is actually a group of spoiled students ... they are influenced by gov. ... but don't forget about the good and wise students of Uitm ... and other Unis. ...

I wonder why now people start "screaming" about their rights ... maybe previously ... you are too afraid of Dr. M? or you are too blind too see and stupid? ... or it just a political dilemma ...

Before this non-bumis never contest their rights for Uitm ... until suddenly another Malay told em about their rights and they woke up and scream about it? ...

and IF uitm students are spoiled ... why people are so interested? ... now maybe you can see the Political object and purpose ...

  7. Personally i feel that uitm students are spoil brats!! All uni should open to all race if they can really study.

There is no reason to protest . the only reason they protest is they are afraid to loose their positions to others and cannot go in to uni. but come to think of it, if they can really study. they should not afraid to lost a chance to go uni.

The whole thing is politics. I agree with Selangor statement that all malaysian should not left out for studies...

on the other hand uitm opens 10 % to foreigner but not malaysians.. where is the logic??

If you know what is good for your children.. dont sent them to uitm. sorry if i offend someone but that is how i feel about uitm.

  8. i think it shd remain closed cos i have a diploma in engineering 1983

and i still do not what UITM is

  9. university - universal 10% is total unfair

I wont spent half an hour typing just to receive dozens of t'down from non malay.

It’s enough criticizing Malays. As the people who origin Malaya, Malays are supposedly entitled to more than just UiTM. Besides, Malays have given up a lot of their rights and privileges just for the benefits of all races, to maintain peacefulness that we enjoy up till know.

I hope I can have control over my fingers not to add more details after this.
