  1. If you're the bride, that's fine.

If you're a guest, you really shouldn't wear white. however, you could do it like this:

wear the white pants and a bright colored top

    or

wear the trouser suit with a bright colored top underneath and lots of funky colorful jewelry.

So don't want to be too in white because the bride could get mad.

  2. Absolutely!

If you are not comfortable wearing a long flowing dress, then why spend the day in one?  The suit sounds beautiful and comfortable.

    Good luck!

  3. the fact it's a trouser suit's not the big deal - loadsa people do it nowadays (though why they have soooo much trouble finding a non-flowery dress is beyond me! is nice to wear a dress once in a while and a wedding's a good excuse! )

the problem you have is that you're not supposed to wear white to a wedding - that's for the bride.  get a nice (other) summery colour instead....but really, if i was you, i wouldn't wear a trouser suit - a dress would surely be a good change for you!  if you don't wear em much you'd certainly make an impression and it'd leave you feeling feminine and perhaps less cynical (hahaha - it's just  i always think the "i'm not gunna dress up" people are a bit bitter or something)

  4. Sounds good.

  5. sounds lovely, wear what you want, its your day im sure you'll look lovely. many happy returns chick

  6. it is your wedding (i presume), so go with whatever makes you happy and comfortable...

  7. If it's your party... wear what you like  :o)

If you are a guest, then of course, leave the white to the Bride.

I would keep in mind that making your outfit as feminine as possible by dressing it up with some fun accessories would be recommended.

Either way, be yourself, and have a great time!

  8. absolutely- i'm assuming your hubby is ok with it too.

you can also wear a tailored suit with a skirt as well.

i'm not one for frills either so i think this is an awesome idea, but my soon to be hubby wouldn't go for it... lucky u..

    good luck with your wedding

  9. At this very

moment, I am the most frustrated person on the planet.  I had a response going for you I spent like a half an hour on and where I had easily 10 links posted in, and then, without thinking, I closed the tab instead of switching tabs and lost it all.  Unfortunately, I do not have time to create the effort, I'm so sorry.  Nonetheless, I'll repeat what I said and give you some guidance for searching.

First of all, a pants suit is FINE if that's who you are.  I think this is beautiful:

A veil wouldn't work with that, but I'd have my hair done up with some tendrils hanging down and then get combs and clips with gemstones and rhinestones on them and place a lot of them in my hair at different places so you can see them coming and going.

    Things like this:

You can also wear a tiara with it, something of this nature:

The thing I said before that I lost is that before you make your final choice, realize that there are plenty of non-conventional, non-flowing, non-cream puff bridal dresses.  Some of them aren't even long.  Go to the website for brides.com and you'll find a selector for wedding dresses that give you options that go far (and I mean FAR) beyond what you might think is out there.

Quite a few of my selections came from this slide show.  Some of them will still be too traditional and flowy for you, but some you might really like.

  10. Yes its absolutly fine, wear whatever you would like.

  11. Wear what you want, it's your day & you will enjoy feeling that you are yourself, not just another clone bride! I am wearing unconventional clothes for my wedding soon, and I feel good in it, plus I can wear it again. Trouser suits can look really glamourous, have a great day!

  12. Are you the bride?

If so, it's your day so you can do what you like. However I really would recommend just making sure and spending an hour in a bridal shop and trying on a few different styles. If you still feel that way afterwards then you know a nice suit would be your thing :)

Otherwise, I've still seen others wear suits but if you're a guest don't go for white.

  13. is it your wedding? if you are just a guest, you should not wear white. but if you are the bride, yes that's fine. my cousin got married wearing a white pant suit

  14. You can wear whatever you want! Doesn`t even have to be white. I personally might advise you toward a skirt suit instead of  trousers but it is your day!  Best wishes.

  15. a bride should wear whatver makes her happy.

  16. Sure, that sounds awesome. wear whatever makes you comfortable and you'll look amazing

  17. There are a million trouser suits out there that aren't white. Buy a pastel one.

  18. Whie is not a good color at a wedding unless you are the bride, better not!
