Do you think its g*y for lads to play vollyball???

I want my male friends to play vollyball with me after school because there is a club but they think its g*y? I dont think so but what do you think???

No, it's not "g*y". Volleyball was made as a male sport.

A guy invented vball and it was originally a mens sport. When girls started to get into sports it got more popular for girls to play vball. A lot of HS have guy vball teams and if u look at all the vbal mags there are always at least half of the pics r guys vball so no it is not g*y its awesome and also some mid schools only let guys play cause they r stronger (but in my opinion girls are as strong and even mor cordinated)

its pretty s**y 2 watch guys play volleyball! trust me! my friends agree! and my guy friends luv it cuz they try 2 kill each other by spiking the ball!

Of course not! its like saying......girls who play basketball are lesbians^_^....i mean what kind of psychology do your friends have?? i think your friends are just saying that because maybe they do not do well on that sport ^__^ tell them i challenge them to a beach volleyball competition me and my brother against all of your male friends ^__^

Heck no!! It's a sport where both men and women can have fun. I used to play varsity volleyball and co-ed intramurals. Gee, some of the women can spike as mean as some of the guys I used to play with!!....o_0

hahaha, i dealt with that same problem back when i played in high school. i would get taunted and ripped on by my friends because the majority of the guys i hung out with were on the rugby team.

the best way to convince the haters is to show them what volleyball is. theyll make fun of it until they acutally see what happens.

i invited my friends to come to a home game one time. my team was a playoff caliber team, with confrence all stars, and i was the only all state outside hitter. early in the game, i talked my setter and told him to give my a quick chute to the outside, and put it over the block.

it was beautiful.

i took a full approach, jumped out of the freakin gym, and blasted it at their libero. the hit was much faster than he expected, and he took it straight in the nose! he got his feet knocked out from under him, fell over backwards, and i broke his nose.

now, im not saying this was nice, but it was very convincing.

show them that volleyball isnt a game of being gentle, but that it takes some power mixed with finesse.

l like vollyball, and l think that is not g*y.everyone can play vollyball because it's a nice games.so don't worry if your friends didn't went with you to play, but i think that now they undersant tha this game isn't g*y.

Sounds like they chicken out. . . . If they are under 18 years of age, i won't held them responsible for what they said but remind them there are female place-kicker in NCAA football, does it make them  lesbians now?

Sport has no boundary, even the physically challenged participate in the international Para-Olympic Game.

Tell them to educate themselves(& i think they probably don't care)

it's definitely not "g*y" for a man to play volleyball. the last time i checked, g*y man are g*y because they sleep with/are attracted to other men... thats the only thing that makes a man g*y. tell your friends to grow up and quit being so insecure about their manhood & sexuality.

Tell them to ge their chubby-asses out of the club because they dont deserve to play. Man, head to your local beach and watch the guys playing there 2v2. In no way am I being cocky but its an incredible way to pick up girls, theyre always asking to play.

They wouldn't feel that way if they six-packed a blocker. They also wouldn't feel that way if they GOT six-packed by a hit! Volleyball looks easy to play and often times the non-volleyball athletes think they should just be able to excel as soon as they step on the court. Once they realize that there are a lot of different ways to s***w up a pass, set or hit, they go back to playing soccer where all they have to do to the ball is run into it.

Not at all. Im a guy and i play volleyball and im definitely not g*y. My girlfriends will all testify to taht. Your friend is entitled to his opinion though
