and their is shirts and shot to add weight on them it helps you get faster

  1. Seems like an awful lot of stress to put on the joints. Also, I wouldn't weight train until the kid is well on his way through puberty.


  2. as long as the kid has gone through the first stages of puberty it will be ok. just don't over do it.  

  3. There are two ways to help a kid be a better athlete.

    One make sure their parents are good athletes.  

    Two make sure that they are enjoying what they are doing and love to participate in the sport.  

    If at age 12 the kid wants to train like that and you believe that they will not be burnt out by the time they reach high school, then it is safe.  Make the training fun and they will succeed.  Make it work and they will quit.

    It should be pretty obvious that those things would not do a growing body anything good.

  5. Should be fine. Kids are developed enough to work out at about age 8.
