  1. i think it's gross

  2. Well I was always brought up believing "mummy and daddy" was a lil kid thing and stopped doing it well before highschool, it's just embarrassing, and I don't think it's proper at all, sounds very immature, every one I know is like that, my steo daughter accidently called me mummy once (she had just playing around with my daughter who was a baby at the time and we were in public and omg some of the looks we got but wowsers would of thought she swore or something- it was a slip of the tongue after playing with bub) so society here doesn't seem to accept it that well, but each to their own.

  3. of course, im 21 and i still call my dad daddy, i dont know my mom so i have never called her mommy

  4. Yeah I find that perfectly normal. I wouldn't want my kids to stop calling me that. I don't want them to grow up too fast.

  5. Whatever blows your skirt up.

  7. I'm 27 and I call my dad "Daddy"

My fiancee is 30 and calls his mom "Mommy" when he's talking about her to his brother.

I don't really think it is not ok.

  8. Why not?  I'm 16 and I call my Mom "Mommy".  It's just like saying mom or dad only with the y.

  15. only when they really want something from them. :)

  16. Yes. Sometimes I still call my dad daddy. My stepmom is 55 and still calls her dad daddy. It bothers her that I call mine daddy sometimes though because I don't do it all the time.

  17. I think it's fine, why wouldn't it be? It may sound a little juvenile, but nothing's wrong with it.

  18. It may sound childish ... but it doesn't hurt anything ...

Luckily my son never called me daddy .. it was always dad .

Of course he's a smart *** teen now and likes to try to call me by my first name ... Til I give him the LOOK.... lol

so it's never been an issue.
