to support the team who at the time play the best football...personally i think hes talking c**p..rangers are in my blood win lose or draw and i'm sure all true fans feel the same about their teams....question is..is it possible to appreciate good football whilst at the same time hope they loose every game they play...:-)

connery is becoming an embarassment. nothing but a fair weather fan who jumped from hibs (during their famous 5 team), celtic (during 9iar) and rangers (during 9iar). he sits in a foreign country to avoid tax yet thinks we shoud all sit up and take notice when he speaks. seems to be an ardent fan of rangers yet the vast majority of gers fans want to keep the union yet he is one of the main spokesmen for independence. oh and he is admits to beating his wife

i dont think he has ever had a clue about football so im not going to change my views. like you say bluebell, you are gers to the core, im celtic to the core nothing will change that especially the views of some guy sitting on an island in the middle of the sea somewhere xx

I read what all he had to say and any right thinking football fan can tell he is talking out of his hole!! Its in the blood, who ya support! If a team beats Celtic and deserves it then, yeah I can hold my hands up and say the better team won, but it still hurts like h**l when it happens

Since going to see Queens as a 5 year old, there's never been a chance I could support anyone else..... Jesus, that's 25 years ago !

And believe me, I've seen plenty of teams play better football than us.

if it doesn't involve my team I can support the ones who play the better football..and I usually support the under dog as it's nice to see them winning.

when it comes to anyone playing against Celtic and they play well then yes I can appreciate what they have done but still snarl at them!!

it has got to be Celtic for me though..as you say Bluebell it's in the blood...however me and you also have other lines too!!

no it's not that's what we call a gloryhunter if you ask me.You can't possibly support both the old firm,you can appreciate when the other team plays well but that is as far as it goes.So who does he cheer for when it's an old firm match is what I would like to know as it's impossible to support both of them!!!

Like you I support my team (Rugby), While I live in the land of the one eyed Cantab bs tards I support the Otago Highlanders, because Otago & Southland were settled by the Scots and that is part of my heritage and also they are good southern boys.
