Do you think its possible for opposties to REALLY attract and stay happy?

Question

How possible is it to REALLY have a good relationship if one partner works in a blue collar position, and the other partner works in a white collar position? Do you believe that the goals, experiences, and desires are mutual? What about educational backgrounds in some cases? This is not to say that one out classes the other, simply that in most cases the backgrounds will be totally different. How much mutuality do you think there is in future goals?

It is meant that opposites attract- that way you find someone who is always going to be different than you are.

Same type of person would become boring in my opinion

It is meant that opposites attract & if there is attraction, certainly they'd stick together... presumably -happy.

But to be honest,i think it would be really hard. This is a really stupid reference,but have you watched Gossip Girl?

And also i did have a friend who was really poor and she didn't turn out so good (backstabbing-jealous witch)

It's possible but not likely. While opposites are fun while dating or even early in marriage, it wears out fast. If you have a spender and a saver or if you have a party person and a stay at home person. It just doesn't work.
