Do you think its possible to skip one day of a lifeguard training class?

I need to take a lifeguard certification class and I'm going to be out of town one the days. Do you think its possible to skip?

Personally I wouldn't skip a day, its good to just get the course over with. In my course the instructor was a EMT so we got some EMT training so I couldn't miss a session, but I'm glad I have that extra training, it paid off  in the long run

Ask the instructor if you can make up the day or read the material that would be covered that day. If not, please don't work at our beaches! Good luck.
