Do you think its right for illegal aliens to get in-state tuition what about kids in America ?Simple question-- if it "isn't the fault" of illegal alien children whose parents brought them to America, then why is it the fault of children of legal residents and citizens from other states that their parents didn't bring them to Massachusetts to qualify for in-state tuition?

BOSTON — After backing off his endorsement of in-state tuition for illegal immigrants, Gov. Deval Patrick is again supporting the controversial measure as part of his Readiness Project, the education reform plan unveiled this week.

"It makes good sense for us economically, and for me it's just a matter of simple justice," Patrick said during a lunch with reporters yesterday. "We don't say to these kids they can't go to state colleges and universities; they can go. Can we think of any more incentives we can create to get illegals to come here? This is utterly ridiculous. Now people who are here legally have to pay to send the illegals to college.

We should be curtailing public services to illegals.

No.  The Governor of Massachusetts is giving justice with our taxpayer dollars.  I think he is both a criminal and stupid because this mess won't go on a whole lot longer.  

The Democratics in Congress are carrying this further too..

NumbersUSA's Capitol Hill Team is hearing numerous reports and seeing signs indicating that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is negotiating to give millions of American jobs to foreign workers.

Pelosi's backroom deals appear to be motivated by fear that a group of freshmen Democrats may get most Republicans to help them force a vote on the enforcement-only SAVE Act (Secure America with Verification Enforcement). That bill -- with 151 bi-partisan signers in the House and Senate -- primarily would drive millions of illegal aliens out of their jobs. But Pelosi is trying to ensure that if the bill comes to a vote, it will include huge increases in H-2B and H-1B visas for foreign workers of all kinds – and, that it will include millions of legal work permits for all the illegal aliens currently holding jobs unlawfully.

American Citizens are not going to school, and Pelosi is trying to give American Jobs to foreign specialists and even illegal aliens.  It is incredible... and Americans don't seem to care.

of course it is not right but the ones to change that are we the voters and we should vote out anyone that seriously comtemplates having this done at taxpayer expense the federal government should cut off matching funds to any university or college that does not honor our federal laws with this BS and the Gov. Deval Patrick should be voted out on this alone let him get out and work along side those in America that are here legally looking for work that got given to an illegal

I have no opposition to people who weren't born here migrating to our shores. However, they should abide by our laws. That means ALL our laws, including immigration laws! If you don't want to get legal, get out!

No and there is a pending bill in the Senate to revoke federal matching funds for colleges that grant in state tuition to illegals. We are fighting the sanctuary states more than ever and I'm very encouraged by our progress over the past year.

Thats an awesome idea..It gives a great chance for bright students who are unable to attend college due to their legal status. Personally I am a US citizen attending a university and saw back in HS how many of my peers were unable to go to college due to the fact that they were illegal, but on the other hand they were on top of their respective classes, So i Think this is a great idea!!!

So basically because they went to grade school together they should be able to go to college together,but because they are illegal they get free college so they can be educated to become laywers and politicians  and sue citizens for more benifits and rights ect.? Am I correct so far,but they are illegal so they will not fight for this country,but our kids are expected to go be killed in a propaganda war while our sovierenity is going down the s*****r.... I dont get it either?
