Do you think its right illegal aliens are getting prefered special treatment ,Juan Casarubia-Rendon, an illegal entrant, was stopped for DWI with a blood alcohol level of .32%, no license, no insurance, released on an appearance ticket and driven home by deputies ,is that to fair to the rest of us ?

On April 27th of this year, Juan Casarubia-Rendon, age 24, was stopped by Wayne County Sheriff's Deputies for numerous traffic violations. He was found to be highly intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level of .32%, four times the State threshold for vehicle operation. Juan had no license and no vehicle insurance, something that would have normally called for an arraignment for any other driver.

As is the policy with most area police agencies, the U. S. Border Patrol would have been notified, appeared and placed a “detainer” on Casarubia-Rendon. As soon as he would have been released from jail, or his obligations for his crime under the law, the U.S. Border Patrol would have taken custody of Juan and the process of giving him his legal options, including, but not limited to deportation back to Mexico.

According to police sources, bowing to pressures from area land owners, Mexican migrant workers are being cut breaks by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. In the case of Casarubia-Rendon, with a .32% body alcohol level, standard procedure would have called for him to be checked out at a hospital to avoid liability if he should suffer any health concerns while in custody by police.

With no license, no insurance, Driving While Intoxicated and being an illegal entrant, every police agency contacted in Wayne County stated Casarubia-Rendon would have been arraigned and remanded to jail.

On April 27th, Juan Casarubia-Rendon was not arraigned. He was issued appearance tickets for Sodus Town Court and driven home by deputies.

How can anybody arrested for drinking and driving really not be arrested ? Isn't that the law across America ? Why are illegals becoming above the law as in this case released even though there is a crime- DWI with a blood alcohol level of .32%, no license, no insurance, released on an appearance ticket and driven home by deputies ,are illegals getting special treatment ?

  1. I've made my share of mistakes and they did not treat me any where close to as nice.   NO I do not think it is right!  Deport all illegals asap!!

  2. Do an investigation on the police departments! go and ask them! Sorry! I can't speak for the law enforcement, and this in only a few not ALL.

  3. We are getting further and further away from equality in our society, and closer and closer to a revolution.

  4. If you think that with that one only case illegals are above the law, you are wrong. It is indeed unfortunate that what you describe happened, but I would not conclude that ALL illegals are above the law with only this particular case. It's absurd.

  5. You would have to go ask the police officers that arrested him, everyone I've know that has had a DUI or DWI has served jail time and if they were illegal they got deported.

  6. No,it isn't right.

  7. No it is not right at all, I know citizens who have been detained on charges like these until they went to court, where is the justice? The officers who let him go should lose their jobs for not following the law.
