  1. then go to spain or portugal

  2. Well, it all depends on your finaces and support.

If your going it alone with no cash, it's a bad idea.

If you have support from friends/family and the finaces to see it through, then go ahead, it'll be good experience for the future.

  3. You have itchy feet and want to travel. There is no better time to travel and learn more about the world than when you are young. Take this opportunity and go, you will always have to option to come back at a later date if you so wish.

  4. Go for it, it is a lot easier to make a move or take a year off to travel when you are young. If you do not go for it now you never will. Trust me if you do not try this you will always regret it.

  5. I think it is a brilliant idea, you will learn so much and if money is the only reason for you not to do it, then I think you should, because money is not the most important thing, and I think it would be so much better to be out there in the world doing something worthwhile and enjoying yourself, than to be sitting at home in England, pondering.

  6. yes it is ridiculous

  7. england is bad for money bad...i wanted to move there a year ago but there economy is more screwed up then ours France is the way to go there gonna own all of europe soon.

  8. Of course it's not ridiculous! As long as you have a plan before you go and maybe save some money before hand. You'll be glad you did it!

  9. I would love to have the courage to leave here. But I am from British and feel i belong here however my sister went away for a year for a gap year and she said it was the best year of her life. So go for it! you could always come back if you didnt like it!

  10. There was once a wise old man, sitting resting at the side of the road, a young traveller came past and had a talk with him - how are the people and what is the town like further down this road?

The wise man asked him what are the people and town like in the place you have just come from?, Oh said the young man, I don't feel the people were my kind of people and the town didn't suit me, I didn't feel like I belonged there.

Oh said the wise man, well I'm afraid you may well find the same problems in the next town because its very similar and so are the people. The young man thanked him and went on his way.

An hour later another young traveller stopped with the wise old man and had a talk with him - how are the people and what is the town like further down this road? The wise man asked him what are the people and town like in the place you have just come from? Oh said the young man, I loved the place, the town is just my type and I really felt like I belonged there!

Oh said the wise man, well I'm very glad, you may well find the same will happen in the next town because its very similar and so are the people. The young man thanked him and went on his way.

But seriously, when you are 18 and get on the move, ensure that you are trying to find something you love, never travel because you need to get away from something you don't like.

Change yourself and you will find that everything else changes, right in front of you.

    Take Care.

  11. Depends on you personally and financially. I don't know if you live alone and support yourself now because you're only 18 but if you have lived on your own for a decent amount of time then you will be fine. Remember that you are going to a country you aren't fuly fond of being that you want to LEARN to speak spanish first....maybe u should learn the language, save enough money to support your living arrangements because I doubt you'll find a great paying job quickly, and make sure you have support from someone stable just in case something happens.

Don't just let this be an impulsive move...it will be fun but be sure to think everything out first...
