  1. Well pokemon mystery dungeon is good for a moment but when you finnish the story mode and the after story mode it loses all the fun. So i would say you should try and perfect teams in pokemon diamond and pearl and not waste your money on dungeon.

    Hope this helps with you decision. : )

  2. no my friends have it and they have regretted it since they got it

    i would stick 2 the normal 1s like pokeman diamond d and pearl

  3. it is kinda fun but get darkness that's way better also if u buy it i can give u codes  for special missions tell me if u buy it

  4. Honestly, I think it depends on what you enjoy. "Normal" pokemon games (ie, RBY, GSC, RSE, or DP) are quite different from "spin-offs" such as Mystery Dungeon 1/2, Ranger, etc.

    I REALLY enjoyed both Mystery Dungeon generations. In fact, I enjoyed them so much that I have two copies of Blue Rescue Team, one copy of Red, a copy of Time, and a copy of Darkness.

    The real difference between the spin-offs and the normal games is that the Dungeon games are more turn-based.

    You have a grid, and it takes (in my opinion) more strategy. My reasoning for this is that you can have multiple enemies attacking you, and you will have to pick between them.

    Other than that, there are many similarities. For example, in both types of games you need to worry about who is on your team, what types are available and what weaknesses you have. You have to worry about move sets on both games, as well as what attack you can use to the best effect on what pokemon.

    On Dungeon, there is another aspect which makes it more difficult, and also requires more strategy. On Dungeon, the max amount of party members you can have is 4, including yourself.You can play only as yourself for the first half of the storyline, until you beat the first 'Major Boss.'

    There are many bosses before then, but the Major Boss is what most people inaccurately consider the 'end' of the storyline.

    After you beat that boss, you can soon play as other pokemon besides your starter (who is basically you, supposedly reincarnated as a pokemon. I'll not give anything away though!) Once you do that, you can also play without your original partner, or even go to dungeons without teammates!

    ~~~~~Most Important Summary~~~~~
    In conclusion, I would definitely buy Mystery Dungeon if you would like a challenge and a different experience. It can be so much more challenging at times, but is VERY rewarding!
    As to what version you should buy, it really just depends on whether you would like to recruit Celebi or Mewtwo. If you would prefer Celebi, then buy Time! If you would prefer Mewtwo, buy Darkness!
    Other than that main difference, there are also some 'exclusive' pokemon to each version. However, unlike Celebi and Mewtwo, these pokemon can be recruited by means of Wonder Mail jobs. (Wonder Mail is like a rescue request in-game.)
    Another minor difference is that some items are version exclusive. However, once again, you can obtain these in the opposite version, whether by wonder mail, or by trading over wifi!
    I love Mystery Dungeon, and I hope that if you buy it, you will too!
