the one in vietname where he stayed there for i think 7 yrs. do you think they should of beaten him alittle more.

The people responsible for sending him there should never have been elected.  The Vietnam War was a miserable mistake.  I guess Mr. Bush didn't learn anything from it, but then, he wasn't there.

You know, I don't like McCain's policies, but dissing his service is off limits.  Atleast he went, unlike the current admin., and even the previous admin.

On the other hand, the worst presidents have been military in the last 150 years.  I do think that we should take it in to consideration, but not diss it.

he should have received a dishonorable discharge.  that way he would have never been a POW and many of our troops wouldn't have died because of him.  Dozens of American soldiers died because of Mccains actions while he was in captivity in Vietnam.  He is no American Hero  His Voting record in Washington proves this.

How could you even joke about something like that? He shouldn't have been beaten at all, because that war never should have even existed, but seriously, how can you joke about somebody being tortured while serving YOUR country? No, that's a terrible thing to suggest. Torture violates human dignity, whether it's done by Vietcong or Americans.

Edit: I'm a Democrat. What was asked in the question is abominable, but look at many of the reactions: Wishes of torture, religious smears...  Those of you who said that are not an iota better than the person who asked the question.
