Do you think kerry earnhardt will have a cup ride with DEI next year?

Kerry is a nice guy, but the truth is not everyone is cut out for Cup racing.  Competing in ARCA and the trucks is one thing, but I don't think he has any business on the track with arguably 43 of the best race car drivers in America.

I think he will. I think Teresa's goal is to get Jeffrey Earnhardt in the car sometime but I don't see that happening until 2010. If she puts Kerry in there for the time being then that will help draw a sponsor to DEI with the Earnhardt name. After a year it might be possible for Jeffrey to go ahead and go to the Cup series.

I think Kerry said that he was retired from racing. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the ARCA Re/Max Series though. He was great in ARCA despite only starting eleven races. Here's a link for his career info in ARCA:

I have for to long bashed Jr. Truth is he vastly more talented than Kerry.

What Kerry would be great at is playing SR. in a movie. He sure does look like him.A race car driver he is not.

No, I don't see CUP in his future....but love to see him get a Nationwide ride...he's still not ready for CUP....but he's a great driver

just needs a break. Remember watching him at Hickory 10 years ago....this guy has talent!

No I think he will stay a test driver.  I think his talent keeps him in the ARCA series at best.  Nice guy but I don't see it happening.

I think that Kerry is where Kerry wants to be.  He's had opportunity, and I really think that he likes where he is at.

I don't know... honestly, I'd be surprised if Regan Smith has a Cup ride with DEI next year.

No.  If they wanted him in he would have been there from the start or at least been in a full time Busch ride until he was ready like Dale Jr.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kerry's son Jeff ends up in Cup in 2 or 3 years running for whats left of DEI.

No i believe he's smart enough to see that DEI is unfortunately getting worse not better. Teresa needs to step down and stop acting like she has a clue. She is great at marketing but not day to day operation of a race team. All said I think Kerry will go somewhere else away from the step mom from h**l.

ummmmmm, no not in cup. I would love to see him in something, truck or nationwide but not cup.
