  1. It all points to that age old adage, that being this lot couldn't organise a p1ss up in a brewery and because they are incompetent, they tar everybody with the same brush.

  2. New labour have betrayed the working class

  3. Oh how I long for a return to the Tory days,Interest rates running at only 15%,a mere three and a half million on the dole, the IRA only bombing Manchester Brighton and London and decent British working class people described as the enemy within.Poll tax riots,Toxteth, and Thatcher giving away British oil to Americans.Selling off of water ,gas and telecommunications.beggars on the streets everywhere, small businesses deliberately sent to the wall.and a charity shop in every high street.Wonderful.

  4. New Labour should be renamed to the ''Quasi-Conservative Party''.

All of the Social Inclusion measures are a sop, and meant to take the Public eye off the ball.

There has been and is a concerted movement towards crushing the Working Class.

Decent wages would be good, but total honesty and transparent Government would be good too.

Driving wage values down is a means of control, coupled with criminal obfuscation in Government and out and out spying is dictatorship without bullets.

  5. the erosion of the working class began with the Mrs T . and the demise of industry , pay 'em enough , keep 'em quiet,   it's not new , don't blame Labour , the prols are here for one more generation if that .

  6. It's Big Brother being disguised as nannying. Deluded left-wingers inflicting their outdated dogma on the rest of us has ruined this once great country of ours.

  7. You right on this Haz,  Labout have sold the workers of this country right down the Swannee.

Robbed the pension fund, Allowed MPs to rob the tax payers by exorbitant expenses and giving highly paid fancy titled jobs to friends and family members.

Social mobility is a joke. The workers of this country are on a downward spiral back to the depression years soon, with rising cost of living and low, low wages and no real increases  to match inflation.

This government Labour by name only, has wasted more of  the taxpayers money than any other government, but they always make sure their boots are filled.  Right to the very top.  Socialism is long gone and nothing to replace it.  That is why the turnout figures are so low at  election time.  Nothing to do with apathy, just pure disenchantment and bewilderment.

  8. Old labour used to care about the poor and underdogs and I don't recognise the party they have turned into but then again I hardly recognise the Country I was born in and how it is fast being destroyed by those who 'claim' to love it.....

  9. He has forgot us working class ive  worked from the age of 16 never sighed on in my life im now 40  what have i got back sh##, it makes me sick. These people jump off a plane get a house money and never payed, this country makes me sick.

  10. Spot on mate..

  11. Traditional working class jobs, Trades and professions for the first time ever had began to pay a decent wage. Not becuase of the introduction of the minimum wage but becuase these jobs had suddenly become a job that less people wanted to do. Que 2 million eastern europeans and the wages were driven down. If Brown wants social mobility then he should stop making British people compete with the workers from countries that are prepared to accept less than a fair wage.
