It is all part of the same circle, politics...laws...judges and lawyers. They all need to have that job security. It is just the meat grinder, if you fall "you'll be waxed." ....for life.

For the harden individuals, its more than fair...it cost us $35k per year for each inmate to be taken care of.

I would take each one of them and place them on an Island in the middle of the Pacific and let them be.

I think that prison life is designed to remove those who MAY be a threat to  society from society. But, I do not agree that anything should go in prison. The punishment is to remove criminals  from society for a given time.. It becomes wrong when the prisoners are put into a situation when they are subject to further torture and punishment from other prisoners or guards. We need to rid ourselves of our barbaric attitude and realize that we all are guilty of doing wrong from time to time.

they got themselves there First of all.. and second.. if they have life. its cuz they killed someone..

Did you hear about the guy who traded his guilty plea for good food in prison? There's our tax dollars going down the tube.

Fair? Is the crime the person committed to warrant such a sentence fair for the victim? I am a supporter of the death penalty for capital crimes, and harsh sentencing for others. Rehabilitation does not work, so incarcerate.

for those who did crime..i think he/she should be jailed..but nowadays mostly people were jailed for not their faults..incorrect investigation,bribes and many more..does anyone know who start this..??

Depends on the crime, if it is premeditated murder then yes it is fair.

Your question is entirley unfair...depends on so many other crucial things...murder? yes,,,  drugs?...maybe...sexual contact with a minor,,,yes,,, come on be real!

Not at all.  Death to all criminals solves the problem nicely.
