Congressional investigation just established that.

Now, I do not think Kusinich resolution will pass and chances are nothing will come out of it, but ignoring this if it were a president "John Doe" and no other election factors would this constitute an impeachable offense in your mind and why?

  1. We didn't impeach Johnson for lying about the Tonkin Gulf.  We didn't impeach Clinton for lying about a Milk Factory, so why should we start now?

  2. sorry but i don't understand you're question. all available intelligence agencies around the world including ours had essentially the same information. what lies are you referring to?

  3. has this president lowered taxes, let me keep my guns, kept me in a constant state of fear and stop g**s from getting married? that is all I care about. Oh and.... 9/11!

  4. "Do you think lying about reasons to go to war is an impeachable offence?"

If and only if the lying was done intentionally.  Especially if questioned under oath and falsehoods were uncovered.  This is the main sticking point in this debate, and no one has been able to answer it: did the Bush administration intentionally lie knowing that Iraq was not as dangerous as they claimed it was?  We know intelligence was manipulated and cherry-picked, was all of this intentional too?  It's not like this "Iraq is a bad country" phenomenon started with Bush's first term, this has been going on for over 2 decades, and evidence against Iraq has been mounted by intelligence agencies the world over.

What was missing in Iraq, and is missing in any inquiry as to whether the Bush administration's call to war is an impeachable offense, is a smoking gun.

  5. Of course it isn't because that would not exist in America. "Offence" is not a word and therefore the argument is moot. NEXT!

  6. Are you making history up on the fly or do you just write it yourself? Read some of it before you ask things like this.

  7. Nope but I think those that keep claiming the White House lied in order to get us into a war need to be jailed.

  8. There is no question that if a President commited a felony or abused his authority in an anitconstitutional manner then that is grounds for impeachment, even incarceration.

  9. You are quoting that nut and expect a credible answer?  Bush didn't lie, so any action on this would be stupid and yet another waste of my tax dollars by this pathetic congress.

  10. Another waste of more money,on an investigation that will get nowhere. Politicians suck.

  11. Not only impeachable but criminal as well. Why should a price not be paid for those civilians and military personnel who lost there lives? Ultimately, all in vain.

  12. i don't know about that, but_ if they would take the one that started the war, and set him or her wright in the middle of the battle, with out a body gared, they would chang thire mind about a war. s.
