I love making fun of retarded people but not in a mean way. If you let them in on it is it still wrong?

  1. NO, it is NEVER okay. How could you "let them in on it"? So are you telling them "So I'm going to make fun of you, but I'm not being mean". If they actually agree to that, then they don't understand.

It is so rude for you to do that.

How can you make fun of someone in a not mean way? You can't.

Hopefully sometime soon you grow up and develop some morals.

  2. No its not nice at all. How mean. I don't know if they could even understand, "letting them in on it"

Would you think it were mean if it was your brother or sister that were being made fun of, but not in a mean way? Come on.

  3. yes its still wrong. last time i checked there really wasn't a nice way to make fun of anyone.

  4. here in oz we had a comedian who was paraplegic ,called himself "steady eddie",he was hilarious ,pointing out the humerous side to what went on in his life.he had us in stiches ,laughing with him ,not at his disability ,but the funny side to it.

so having a joke with a person with a disability ,providing they appreciate the humour is good.

it's a fine line with retarded people ,as they may not understand u are just trying to be funny, let them set the pace ,u will  find out who thinks it's fun and who doesn't.

  5. No and I hope nothing ever happens to you cause then you might not get so lucky for it to be done behind your back. Remember everything goes around and comes around. What you do you will get back 3 fold.

  6. You answered your own question with the phrase Make fun of, and no it's not ok because they may not know that "joke" is at their expense.

There is no nice way to make fun of someone.

  7. Making fun of someone is mean.  You can't make fun of someone in a nice way.

  8. Having worked with many people with special needs, I can tell you that many of them know when they're being made fun of and there really isn't a "nice way" to "let them in on it." There is nothing funny about not being able to function like a normal human being. I have a sibling who is mentally retarded. She has an IQ of 42 but she knows she is not the same as others and she is aware of when people are making fun of her. Please reconsider your attitude towards this; it is so unfair and unkind to treat these people disrespectfully. You can make yourself an exception to the rule of generally cruel people who think it's okay to criticize those who are different.

  9. Making fun of people IS mean, there's no way around that and it doesn't matter who it is.  It's not okay to make fun of people, especially not for something that's not their fault.  Letting them in on it just means they know you're making fun of them, which is even meaner.

  10. making fun of challenged people is laughing at them. no, it's not okay. even if you let them in on the joke, will they get it? or laugh cause you're laughing.

  11. as a person with a family member with a mental challenge it irks me to no end to hear someone making fun of someone like that. they didnt ask to be born like that and any self respecting person shouldnt make fun of them .....joking or not!

  12. umm is there a nice way to make fun of them? h**l NOT! and i can't think of any reason that they would go along with it anyway. They can't help that they were born with developmental problemes.

  13. It's wrong to make fun of someone due to something they cannot help or have no control over.  Stupid people, yes.  Retarded people, no.

  14. It's never OK, there is not a "nice" way to make fun of people.

How would you like it if people started to make fun of you because  you may have a big nose or big feet or limp hair?  Not nice full stop.

  15. No, it is not okay! How can you possibly make fun of them without being mean?  Just think of all the obstacles and challenges that they have to go through every day. They don't need you making fun of them to make it worse.

  16. jboxton u have no life and u should grow up

  17. I think it is ok to laugh with them.  Sometimes they can say smart amusing things.  DON'T MAKE FUN OF THEM.  I have  little down syndrome friend who makes me laugh constantly but I am not making fun of her I just find the way she sees the world as delightful.  Does that make sense.

Unfortunately I frequently laugh at my granny who has alzheimer's.  Same story there.  If I don't laugh I will cry.
