  1. Well..in a small way, we can thank Katy Perry for that.  Her "I kissed a girl" song seems to make it ok to glamorize the whole "L*****n for hire" idea.  That it's ok to be really straight, but experiment with the same s*x due to being drunk, turning on their boyfriend, ect.  Because you know the only instance where this is a fad that's accepted or "cool" is among women.  Not so much with bi men.

Now..ask yourself this?  If you are claiming the label of bi to turn on the OPPOSITE s*x, just how bi are you?  It would seem if you are trying to attract the OPPOSITE s*x then you would be more straight.  But that's just my opinion, and I think too much. :)

  2. Some people think being bisexual is cool and it's becoming a trend

they think people of the opposite s*x will fancy them more if they're bi

  3. I agree with you. I'm bisexual and have been since I've ever started fancying people. I can't stand people who say they are bisexual and are just doing it to attract men. Makes us look bad as well... how many times have I been told I'm just confused, its just a phase or whatever. Erm... no if its a phase... its a lifelong one and if I'm confused then how am I so sure.

Hopefully the fashion trend will die out!

  4. Yep.

    I do.

I dare say there are plenty of real bisexuals out there. But there are plenty of toy ones too.

I think it's becoming uncool to be heterosexual.

    God help us all.

  5. I'm sure it's not any kind of a social meltdown. I think that the way people respond to sexuality is changing, and while years ago a person who felt bisexual probably kept that private, now it's more accepted to say it openly.

But I still think that most people who come here are young teenage girls, particularly, who are just finding their sexuality, and who at this time probably do think they may be bi, but as they grow and develop realize they're straight.

I don't think there are as many bisexual teenagers as you'd imagine from reading what's posted here.

  6. everyones different. some of the ppl claiming to be bi are, and some are just doing it for show. :: shrugs :: nothing you can really do about it.

  7. I feel sorry for those genuine bisexuals because being bisexual has suddenly become a bit of a trend. In a way it's a good thing, because it gets rid of homophobia and bisexuality used to be seen as something as vile as being g*y or L*****n. Atleast now it's being seen in a more positive light.

But still, I'm tired of hearing teenage girls especially labelling themselves "bisexual"...purely for male attention. These are the girls who will perhaps kiss a girl at a party (of course, in front of males) but would never actually dream of dating another girl (unless it impressed the guy she fancied, and even then the relationship with the girl - who would be super hot - would last about a week). It's sad...but ultimately, these girls will grow out of it! It isn't being helped by songs such as "I kissed a girl" which promote bisexuality, but is sung by Katy Perry who claims to be 100% straight. I like the song, but I think it shows how popular bisexuality is becoming amongst teen girls, and many young people who ARE bisexual find it really hard to battle with their feelings and confusion.

Be proud of who you are and be confident knowing that at least you aren't one of these fakers :)

  8. where are all these female bisexuals? im bi...iv kinda known all my life and i cant find any1...but that might be because im 16 and kinda havnt come out

  9. I don't care if they are bisexual, monosexual, bilateral, bilingual, psycho-bitc£sexual, trisexual, quatrosexual, asexual, or, "Fascist Anarchists" (to quote from the one and only Ferris Bueller.) However, as "the boys from Angel Beach" once said: "Gimme pu$$y, or, gimme death." Different strokes, for, different folks. Bring it on!

  10. Yeah, I think this more than ever. It aggravates me sometimes. I know alot of 12 year old girls who run around singing "I kissed a girl", I'm not saying that they can't listen to that music because they're not LGBT, it's when they come back with really smart remarks like "I'd kiss a girl, I'm totally bisexual".

I dated one girl for quite a long time, (She was "bisexual") She came up to me one day and was like "I'm bi, but not bi enough to date another woman". WTF, She told me this 8 months after I was dating her. =/ Sometimes I think girls just do that to get more attraction from the guys.

It's not even just the girls though. All the little emo boys running around, saying "I kiss boys" to get more popularity, and girls. It's so confusing...

  11. bi s*x is good, u get the best of both worlds

  12. Lol why so bitter?

I think it is fad for some people but not most of the people who are bi it is just a few sad people, and FYI you dont have to have been near the same s*x to know you are bi.

  13. for a lot of them it's just for attention, they are bored, mad at

their boyfriend, want to see if they can juggle both and there are some that are just genuinely are attracted to both and can be monogamous and actually be committed to ONE at a time. I personally don't have a problem with them I just get sick of the ones that do it for '' fun''.

  14. It's difficult to say from a male perspective. Though all things should be equal it is definitely harder for a male to a, admit to and b, actually be Bi Sexual. Male on male still has a massive taboo attached to it whereas, due mainly to the straight side of the p**n industry, female on female is more accepted.

I also think that a lot of girls who say they are Bi are lying really. It's kind of a cool thing to say at the moment but how many of the girls you know that say they are bi have actually had a proper relationship with a woman?

(just kissing a girl doesn't count, you've got to want it if you see what I mean)

From personal experience I know I have bi tendencies. I've slept with and desired members of my own s*x post puberty so it can't be blamed on a teenage hormonal crush. But I'd never put it about because I thought it was cool, it's just me and that makes it my business and no one else's.

  15. i think people want to be different and accepted so they throw around the word bisexual like its a statis. ive been bi for years and i never go off telling people im bi. ive noticed alot of people wanting to be g*y or bi to be accepted. g**s use the term "family" but are bi sexuals trying to steal or abuse that term?

  16. Maybe, maybe not, but I honestly don't believe a person can be bi sexual until they have had a relationship with both a member of their own s*x, and the opposite s*x, and intend to continue that type of lifestyle.

Clearly, as this is illegal until 16, I cannot see how anyone can truly claim to be bi sexual under that age without breaking the law.

Bi curious, is a totally different matter. During the teens, when the hormones are raging, many people actually do develop a crush on someone of their own s*x, maybe because of their build, or looks, but in general, that is all it is, a crush.

Some people do go on to experiment, to find out what they really like, and i guess between two consenting people this is no problem, and sometimes, it may surprise people the type of person experimenting, particularly if they are thought of as not being that type of person.

There is nothing wrong in admiring beauty, but don't push yourself, or your ideas, on anyone who is not interested, or who would not be legal.

It's not becoming a fashion statement, it's just more people are showing that side of their nature, whereas before, it was frownd upon more.

  17. yeah its kinda becoming cool to be bisexual but hey at least its giving bisexuality and homosexuality good press :D

  18. Yes, it's true what you said. But.. I think that the bisexuals knows when fell in love with another one of the their own s*x by the attraction. Sometimes it's obvious when there's love between two persons, so it's possible to understand it not only with s*x ..

    n_n

love first of all, then s*x.

(i'm not talking about confused guys or girls..)

  19. It's a trend at the moment but most of these people are nothing of the sort.

  20. Being bisexual is the in thing.

It about rebelling against parents and society so people can feel they have more control over their lifestyle and decisions, when their really just following the banwagon.

It's about girls getting attention from boys by pretending to actually be bisexual, cause most guys like girl on girl action.

It's about feminine emo boys getting attention from girls who like the overly sensitive type because in the girls minds, boys who kiss boys must be more secure about himself and therefore truely more masculine...when thats really not usually the case.

It's all a huge game for attention. And then you have your actual real bisexuals who aren't taken seriosuly because of it.

  21. Yes, it is. I mean, look at Katy Perry's song. I've noticed bisexuality being trendy for far longer than the mainstream media has reported on. But, many girls think it's hot to make out with a girl in front of their boyfriend to turn them on. So they're 'bisexual'.

  22. If it was so easy to tell everyone your into the same s*x then maybe more people would, how it is now, i don't think id say i was bi just to get a girlfriend, but if that's how people are right now then it seems it could be becoming a trend, maybe its just more socially acceptable to like both than the same!
