If no, do you think we will destroy ourselves through war?

Or make the Earth uninhabitable through pollution?

  1. You really have to stop listening to Al Gore.  He has polluted your mind.

The world is cleaner now and pollution is not a threat at all to the survival of humans.  There have been several times in the history of the Earth with the CO2 level was several orders of magnitude higher than today and the effect was highly beneficial to the plant life and animal life.  So far humans have contributed to about .5 degrees.  When you consider how that increases photosynthetic efficiency, longer growing seasons and warmer nights you should thank your lucky stars that you weren't born in a cold period.

  2. Yes, we'll be here, but hopefully it will be after the tribulation, and during the Thousand year reign.

  3. contrary to popular belief, Nature is not vindictive; Nature is. what we do to ourselves will affect our near future, but will be inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.

as terribly as we've "sht where we eat," our technology is moving at an amazing pace, and so with world-wide, united efforts it is feasible we could reverse the dis-sevice we've done ourselves (and other organisms) with polution and make the world a more livable place for everything...until the asteroid comes to take us all out.

  5. Sure, mankind will still be here. The question is in what numbers. We know the rich will survive. But what about the other 80% of the earth's human inhabitants?

Gore is just the messanger. If your mind has been "polluted" it got that way from the collected intelligence of 16,000 + scientists. You are wise to listen, and wise to ask questions.

  6. Or will we be ravaged by a disease or virus like HIV that we cannot cure? Nature always has a way of balancing everything out. We have already done too much damage to the environment, its only a matter of time before we are repaid.

  7. I think humans will be here in 100 years.  I think many people will revert to tribalism though.

  8. Who knows, but we probably will have descendents here in another 100 years, so we ought to take care of our environment just in case, huh?
