Do you think melbourne put up a good fight against collingwood?

for the team thats been playing some of there greatest footy(collingwood) to not absolutly flogg a team like melbourne do you think melbourne played well?

It is one of Collingwood's problems seem to lack the killer instincts playing against old rival teams [eg] Ess Carlton Rich have many upsets in seasons gone by, Melb did put on a good game today.   GO PIES

i LOVE THE PIES!!!!!and today i have to say melbourne scared the **** out of me. they just looked more switched on but i guess in the end the pies ran over them. and it made me happy because i've been on queens birthday last year and the year before and its about time Melbourne had the tears on queens birthday,instead of me crying up in the stands. but yes Melbourne did play well and as well as collingwood is playing theres still alot of room for improvement but I love the pies and always will. wohoo!!!!!!!

Melbourne played really well, they almost beat my Pies! the boys scared the c**p out of me at times. i thought maybe it was Melbournes time to win. so glad they ddnt win though. Go Pies!

I think that Melbourne played with incredible passion and if they can pull that off each week they will pull themselves out of their form slump. Remembering the recent loss of Neitz and Robo they were quite impressive.

they did really well untill half time, then dropped the ball. they tried to have a last minute catch up, but that didn't work for them.   when u are playen a half decent side, you cannot afford to give them an inch.

Didn't get to watch much of the game but i would guess Melbourne must have been doing something right to lost by only that much (Although maybe Collingwood were a bit tired from the flogging they handed out the week before! That has to take it out of you....)

No! Good old Collingwood forever! The barrackers were shouting for good reason. Melbourne had a terrible season if you ask me.

Collingwood thought they were out for a walk in the park. A lot of their top guns weren't so flash today when put under pressure. They only had one more scoring shot than the Dees. A bit of inexperience cost Melbourne a win.

Melbourne put up a fight. They challenged Hawthorn so Collingwood were nervous, but at the end of the day... Collingwood were to good.

Yeah they played well, and if they had kicked straight with the easy chances that they missed it would have been even closer. It's just a pity that it takes so called "BIG GAMES" for Melbourne to play that way. If they could play that way every week, they would have a few more wins
