Do you think michael phelps will be able to keep and maintain his 8 gold medals in the 2012 olympics?

michael phelps is now known as the ultimate olympian after picking up 8 gold medals at the 2008 summber beijing olympics. will he be able to do so in the next one?

  1. 8 for 8, I doubt he can do it again, he mentioned in one of his interviews that if he did it over, he probably can't get 8 golds


  2. i think so. hes such a fighter.  

  3. He already said that he won't be doing this type of program again in 2012, so no.  He'll probably do the 2 butterflys, the 200 free, the 4 X 100 free, and the 4 X100 medley again.  That's my guess.

  4. He has made it clear that he will compete in the London Olympics in 2012 but he will not race nearly as much as he did in Beijing.

  5. he already said he wouldn't want to have a schedule as grueling as this past one. in the 2012 olympics he is just going to try and ease himself out of swimming slowly.
