  1. No it is not. Agriculture is the worlds largest user of natural resources. It takes nearly 1300 gallons of water to make a single Big Mac. That includes water for the animal, it's food to grow, the machinery needed to plant, grow and harvest the food, the equipment needed to slaughter and then transport the meat and of course the energy needed to cook it. Agriculture is necessary obviously but there are much better ways to do it.

  2. No.  Without it, you wouldn't have most of the goods you enjoy today.  Mining allows us to produce even the simplest products.  Minerals and metals come from mines.  If you can make a product without either of these essential ingredients and keep it cost effective, I'd be interested to see it.  Without them, you couldn't get in a car because there wouldn't be that car without the metal it's built upon.  Or if you want to buy your love a diamond ring, good luck.  Guess where diamonds come from.

  3. Nope, how are we going to obtain the resource for public use without some form of mining

  4. No Mining in fact does not impose to much on nature apart from causing sink holes ,

Deforestation because of expanding agriculture and population growth,is the biggest resource depletion,

    And pollution in General
