Do you think months are Male or Female ?

I am developing a few travel websites, and I need to give each month a quirky character.

My initial idea is to portray a character for each month i.e. Mr January, Ms February, Master March etc ....

Can anyone give me a few suggestions for the gender/characteristics for the UK calender months.

  1. i could i would probably say:

    january, february, march, july, august, september, october,

    november, december - male

    april, may, june - female

    with possible mixes for february october and december.

    of course, several are originally named after Roman men.

    February, March, August, September, October and December are boys

  5. yes the months are named after the greek and roman gods i.e. march - mars the god of war

  7. well other languages have a masculine, feminine, & nuetral form of the word 'the'.  For example, in German 'the month' would translate to "das monat". And 'das' is the feminine form.

  8. They are all male, except for February that is yet to come to terms with its sexuality.
