  1. Yes because prices on everything are rising for one and for 2 there are alot more kids dropping out  and/or having babies and  their to young. So without  an education or experience, they'll be living paycheck to paycheck or on well fare. These days you shouldn't spend the money as soon as you get it because all the prices are getting jacked up. Now is the time to start "BUDGITING" , if spend your money all the time on other things, then what you need at home groceries,     necessities, baby stuff ,kids stuff if you have any, gas to get back and forth to work   etc...,Before you regret it. That's just my opinion, I hope it helps. Toodles! Try to be more RESPONSIBLE!  :0)

  2. YES- with all the credit card debt, rent checks, and huge mortgages.... yes, definitely :(

  3. You can figure this one out on your own.  If your single at 20 yrs. old and you're working and making good money instead of getting a better education.  Then you can see that you are not being as responsible as you should probably be.  And you are not the only one.  It usually happens with people with young families and has been happening for a long time.

  4. People today make more money then people did 40 years ago but have far less today. My grandparents were able to buy a home a car and go on a 2 week vacation in the 1950s go figure

  5. you think lets do some math  GAS 4.65  minimum wage 5.15 or so.

  6. yea, all young people are susceptible to marketers, and they feel pressured to buy a bunch of things.

as you get older, you'll see you don't need nearly as much stuff as they advertise, and you'll spend less.

  7. I live paycheck to paycheck. Its easier to do that now because of online banking. You can really shave it very close without getting a penalty. Its okay to do this if you have parents and a good support network. If you are on your own I wouldnt advise it. but you should enjoy your money. Dont save it for the doctor when you get older. Also there are too many things to buy.

  8. There are people out there working 2 or 3 jobs trying to make ends meet. The cost of everything keeps going up. Start with the gas tank.
