Do you think most people care about everyone else?

Question

Like me, I really care about everyone- not just my friends, but the strangers on the street. I want everyone to be happy. Do you think most people feel that way? I hope so.

I'm like that, too.  But in my experience the majority of people don't ACT like they care about others as much as I would think they would.

Then again, that's just the outward read I get on people.  I think that people generally care, but not about everyone, just select things and people.

Unfortunately, I think most people are wrapped up in their own little worlds and have a hard time thinking about other people.  I do not judge because I am painfully aware of my own selfishness and fight it every day.

They say that they care for others, but more than a check in the post is their total commitment to the care for others. It is like all those millions that are promised to 'the needy', it never gets to them. Join one of those 'welfare' groups, every person wants to take something extra along.  Fridges, 4 x 4's, TVs, PCs, double beds, etc..  All paid for by the welfare organization.  It is a scam.

No, I don't think most people care about others.  People are so tied up with what they need and want.

I care about people less fortunate than myself.  I can't stand to see someone blatantly flaunt their wealth yet turn their backs on society.

nope people like you are rare. and alot of people can pretend to be like you, so it may seem like there are more like you but not genuine.

Probably because they (and myself) think about how it would feel to be in whatever difficult situation that person is in.

i think in a general sense they do but its dwindling with each passing year in this country.However the influx of Mexican immigrants has increased the amount of caring people per capita i'm thankful for that

No. Well I guess it goes both ways. Some people have a good heart, and others do it to seem like they do. Most people I think are like that, and are usually after their own interests.

no i don't think everyone feels that way but i do i just feel bad for people on the street i mean some people choose there life like some people drink and spend there money on that not everyone like that though and yeah i wish people can just see the side us people see in them they may be dirty or may drink but there are alot of good people to help.

Most people care about other people  - the extent of this various within individuals - there are somepeople who don't care at all about other people; these people are called psychopaths. If you look around, where ever you are in the world, you will see a lot more evidence of people caring than people not caring.
