crazed and delving so deep into this Sociology study hopeing to show by living out some "statement"? Delusions of granduer as a "great pioneer" in his twisted thinking of becoming a living study in how Psychotic killers evolve and what society should look for to intervene. Prison, Social Work, anti violence, his profile is that of a frustrated proffessor saying "look look don't you know it's like this!" I think he was so sick he thought he would be enlightening the world in studying his case after he did his disgusting ego fullfilling thesis. Just trying to figure, so sad, what do you think?

  1. You have to consider the intersectionality of mental illness, violence, availability of lethal means, history of social isolation and other factors.  This form of suicide is not new (that that this makes it any less tragic) but the resources that we as society put into addressing the contributing factors is very small.  It is not ego but lack of ego (and more importantly superego from a psychodynamic perspective) that explains this.  From classic Freudian theory - a person in a dissociated psychotic state is totally "ID" driven.  There is no mediating force.
