I usually give him weetabix as breakfast, a cup of milk and a couple of biscuits or crackers as a snack, pasta or chicken with veg mashed for lunch, fruit as snack and for the evening he eats a slice of bread, a yoghurt and a cup of milk-I'm worried cause when i try to give him his dinner he refuses it and i finish up giving the yoghurt and bread instead

  1. i think you are sticking to the food prymid too much. (sorry spelling on the prymid) anyways.... maybe offer him something else. I would be tired of eating the same thing. Try cheerios or fruit rings in the morning... try some grape jelly bread for lunch and something other then the same diet for dinner. I have a 22 month old and he eats everything. you can toss vegetables or fruit into any meal. he has fruit with his cereal in the morning. he has veggies for a snack. too much milk maybe? take out one of those and put water or juice instead? it is important for water in the body as well as milk and other drinks.

    good luck hope this helps!

  2. hmm be strong taz all i caN TELLY YOU

  3. i suppose it depends on his portions you are giving.

    My daughter, 17 month gets,

breakfast, eggs, or toast,or fruit,or cereal, with juice, lunch is soup, or sandwich, or KD, or left over supper with juice or chocolate milk. she has a small snack in between lunch and supper (crackers, fruit or cookies)....supper she eats what we are eating, meats, potatoes or pasta or rice, and a veggie whatever i make, with juice or milk.

sometimes she isnt all that hungry at supper which is fine, she gets her 4 cups of milk a day and she eats well.
