i took in a stray kitten on memorial day weekend. she seems to be naturally skittish at any sudden movement. a few weeks ago, she followed my male cat out and lost her sense of direction and just camped out under the house for about a day. well, last week ive been feeding the cats canned food and dry due to an abused kitten i found 2 weeks ago. i found vomit in the bathroom.. i have this feeling it's from stray #1.

and this week i've noticed she's unusually affectionate with me.. and today i'm noticing her belly. it feels tight and looks larger than normal..

does this sound like pregnancy or worms ?

  1. You should take her to the vet...Whether she is pregnant or has worms she needs a vet to treat her accordingly.

Plus if she has worms, she can spread it to you other cat (s)

(You can check her stool/vomit if possible to see if there are any worms)

Vomiting and a distended stomach (don't poke at it too hard) are also possible signs of worms...

If she is a young stray she most likely has not been spayed or wormed.

She may have already been pregnant before she showed up on your doorstep, also pregnant cats can become more affectionate.

She's lucky to have found you...

  2. it could be pregnancy but then again i am not sure a cat doesn't really start to show that she is pregnant till about 3 weeks. my advice take her to the vet and depending on her age will tell you how many kittens she will have. and cats are prego for 5 weeks
