I work with this guy who is normally a very kind and lovely person, however I suspect something serious wrong with him. He talks very fast and sometimes in a very high mood, when he was in this mood he is lovely and helpful, however for no apparent reason he would switch to a low mood and gets really irritable, thats when he would be rude and inconsiderate, he could say something really hurtful.. there is no way to tell which way he is going to be tomorrow. Also he has huge debts from spending irresponsibly in the past. He is 36 years old, what should i do with this unpredictable person?

  1. It's impossible to tell by reading one short paragraph.  People are moody, some more than others.  My first thought though was drug use.....What should you do?  Be non-confrontational...keep it to a work relationship.  (psychologist)

  2. First of all don't scream Bipolar as of yet that term is thrown around far to much these days. He could just be a irrtable person who wants to be a happy and well liked person. But keeping up a act or rouge if you will takes energy and can be draining metley and fisical I don't think hes bipolar just misguieded.

  3. he bi-polar :o
