He is 10 months old and every day I think he looks more and more like a coyote. We rescued him from the pound I know he has some healer in him and that is all I know I am guessing he has some shepherd in him as well. He is very tall and weighs 70lbs. When he runs it really looks like a coyote. Thanks

  1. I agree. I don't see any coyoto-but def. see some lab.

    He's a cutie!

  2. I think he probably has some dingo in him. I own a full bred dingo. Mine is the is big though, but he is very protective. but arent they all

  3. nah, maybe the color

  4. Yes, he looks like a cyote in the first picture. His body looks like it. But in the face, I dont see coyote, I see labrador

  5. Part Coyote, NO WAY!

He looks to be part Golden Retriever and part Labrador.  He's also the right weight for a mix of these breeds.  If he were part coyote, his snout would be much narrower and longer.  The hair on the backs of his legs are short hairs.  This is classic of Labs.  I bet his hair is a little oily, too.  These are lab traits.

  6. I dont see any coyote.  Maybe slightly in the coloring, but the length of his coat is not right, the patterning and shading of it is not right, the head shape, ear shape, both not right.

Looks like a shepherd mix to me!

  7. I don't see coyote in him. Maybe some labrador. There's a blood test available that can tell you what breeds are in your dog. Ask a veterinarian.

    He's very handsome!

  8. no he would look more pointy sortuv

  9. no i do not think your dog looks anything close to a coyote. i would think your part stupid for thinking that

  10. No, but he is ADORABLE!!!

  11. naw hes just cute- besides 70lb is huge even for a half coyote

  12. Nope, don't see any coyote in him.  My aunt owns a dog that is half domesticated coyote and half German Shepard.

He is a cutie though! =D

  13. Nope not at all at least from the coyotes ive seen they've  never been that red or defiantly not that big!!!! and his snout is to big and his chest is white.

  14. well, he's not a coyote, but he kinda resembles one.

    beautiful dog :)

i think he has some shepherd in there, for sure, and maybe greyhound or something

  15. sorry no way maybe greyhound

  16. He's very cute. In my opinion, it doesn't seem like it's a coyote. It looks like he may be part Heeler, and maybe Lab. I can't really tell. I wish I could help more.

  17. I see possible pit bull in the ears and the color.

I'm sorry, I really don't see coyote, although that is a romantic notion. There is nothing to indicate it in any of his features.

A coyote would make a horrible pet. They are skittish and wild and even when people try to domesticate them, they don't stop being skittish. This is the case even when they are born into domestication. They don't act like dogs do, even though they are from the same family.

It's a beautiful dog and looks very well cared for and loved, but I think it is definitely all dog.

  18. No, I don't see any coyote in there. Lab, maybe some kind of hound, possibly Collie which might account for his running style.

  19. I dont see any Coyote in him. I see maybe Lab but not sure. He is very cute though.

  20. Nope. No coyote. Just labrador

  21. No, he doesn't look anything like a coyote to me
