Do you think my dog needs a new name?

I have a dog thats called a shitzu, i got a card once saying what do you call a zoo with no animals, and in the card it said a shitzu...do you think a new name would be more appropriate?

I think that you can change your dog's name at any time but just use it consistently from there on out.

One of my dogs think that her "other" name is "Gorgeous"!  You just have to give your dog a name that you feel comfortable saying.

I'm assuming that you mean to ask if the dog breed needs a new name.  No, I don't think so.  =)  It's actually spelled shih tzu and is pronounced "sheet sue".

Is your dogs name Shitzu? Or is that the breed it is?

You cannot change the breed name of your dog.  You would look kinda silly if you started telling folk your Shih-tzu was now a Poodle or whatever.

maybe, shitzu is a type of dog its not egsacley a name but if you change the name  it won't be used to it when you call it!
