Do you think my football coach will let me leave practice early?

yea so auguts 11 we start our real practices and i have my final week of drivers training at 11 am. practice staerts at 8:30 am but idk whne its going to end. i think its goin to be for 3 to 4 hours.so i would have to leave practice early. do you think my coach will let me????????????????????????????

Tell him BEFORE that you must leave. Don't tell him at the last second our you should have difficulty to be a starter.

You should email, call or something in advance. He might let you go since you were responsible and let him know ahead of time.

best bet is to communicate it in advance.  

many coaches / bosses understand that football or work is not all of life and they will let you go.

most likely, but you may be missing valuable practice time and ultimately moving yourself down the depth chart...i would hitch a ride until november.

if it is for one day, your coach will probably give you a break. however, if it is a recurring thing every week, i would reschedule. im on a high school cheerleading team and they are pretty strict with attendance. if you miss too many unexcused the coach will take us out of competition or games. the same is probably for football. talk to your coach way ahead of time so they can figure it out. it doesnt hurt to ask!!

IDK man i know my coach would not of let me in high school. but just go talk to him. some coaches will understand and some like mine think football is the only thing this time of year
