YES, IT NEEDS TO BE DEFROSTED. that is terrible. i don't even know how he/she fits anything inside that, let alone close the door. tell them to defrost it. asap.

Yes. Seeing it is a small one, I suggest moving it outside to thaw it out. That would also be a good time to clean the coils as well.

No you only do that when the ice begins to form on the OUTSIDE of the fridge/freezer.

Yes, the picture clearly shows the freezer has ice buildup, freezer is in need of defrosting Good Luck !

   Your best bet is to turn the thing off and "burn" out all of the ice, with warm/hot water until it's totally ice/frost free! then plug the freezer back in and let it get to it's correct temp. after that just make sure not to store items directly in front of the vents in the freezer, that causes frost to form quickly and most of all when you see even a little ice forming ...CHIP IT AWAY!!!  :)

     Also, make sure you freezer is set at the correst temp and other settings... Most importantly... Don't let it get that bad again! LOL, and Best Wishes, Alycia D.

It needs to be unplugged and defrosted, that just ain't right!
