Do you think my house could still be haunted?

Well a long time ago we had this thing were our lamp started swinging back and forth really violently and then it just fell.We would have vacum cleaners going on and off and apparitions and more stuff than that. Its been a while now and things are starting back up now. Dogs and cats stare at walls, dog barks at wall, doorknobs jiggle, you feel like your being watched, you hear things, you see these weird mist { sometimes with red eyes that screech and chase you} knocks on the INSIDE of the wall. When you have something facing one way or on something it will be moved.

Sometimes you get really really cold but it is a drafty house so whatever!! Can I get someones honest opinion.??? THANKS!!

I don't believe in ghosts either and I think if you looked you would find a logical explanation for most of what occurs.

Not sure what to make of the screeching mist with the red eyes though, sounds like you might be hallucinating, does anybody else see it?

A friend of mine lived in a house like yours and he died in his sleep. He was only 17 years old. Everyone said that he was scared to death. Kind of scary.

Area you saying that these things haven't happened in a long time since all that happened years ago...and now are happening again? Or are you just saying that you're afraid the ghosts might  just be "hiding"?? If these things are happening NOW...why did you wait so long to mention it? I don't understand what you're asking.OF COURSE if all these things happen now..it's haunted. Please add details and tell us your situation now in your house.

Sounds like you have an over active imagination,  mist with eyes that chase you? Red flag, and don't think so. Spirit spend enough energy to materialize, they will not chase you. How about you let the grown ups talk , and stop playing on the computer.

To be perfectly honest, I do not believe in ghosts. But I do believe in the power of the mind. I also believe that everything has a logical scientific explanation. I’m confident that if you believe less in ghosts, things like that would happen less as well…

sounds like you might have some unrestful spirits in your home... might want to find out what they want or get your local ghost hunting society to see if they can get any scientific proof to back it up or hopefully resolve it

sounds like you have some paranormal  activity.  try to call in a priest .  you could always try to find one of those places like TAPS that will come investigate.  i know your scared, but try to hold tight till you can find someone to help you.  good luck, wish i could be more helpful.

I don't want to sound like an idiot, but it does sound like ghost. If not then it could be a demon trying to get you to leave the house. I'm sorry I'm not so experienced in this but it's an idea. Goodluck! =]

Indeed you home may be haunted.

But first, you said your home is old, have you had the wiring looked at, and updated. Old wiring can have very high emf levels wich can lead to paranoia, hallucanations and such.

If this was done  then look at some things like What happened years ago to make them go quiet?

What has changed in the home (remodel,family loss or change)? Then you can start to figure things out.There are still many questions and details you can add to get a better answer and ideas

Sure your house could be haunted!  I believe that the paranormal is something that can't be explained as black and white.  Go to the library and do some back ground checking on your house.  Maybe you will be surprised at what you find!

well, sometimes having tons of electronics in the environment can give you the sense of being watched and uneasiness. i think it is because they let off elctro magnetic feilds or something. try watching shows on TV that deal with paranormal stuff because if you believe in that kind of thing, you might be learning a lot. personally, i believe in it. but even on the SciFi channel show Ghost Hunters they said that having tons of electronics around will give you a haunting feeling. good luck, whatever it is.

From your description, it certainly sounds like a haunting, but I  am puzzled about the "red eyes that screech and chase you" . And if it's starting up again what has changed recently?  please elaborate

evil spirits do exist. judging by what you described it sure sounds like your house could be haunted. i'd check up on who lived there before you. maybe someone was murdered in that house. or maybe it's built over an indian burial ground. seriously it could be anything. i think you can really tell if something is wrong if animals sense stuff. animals have a way of feeling stuff like that. that could be a real tell-tale sign something could be wrong.

there could be a spirit in your house and if that is the case there are a few routes that you can take and one of them is to call in an investigation team and have them help you to rid your residence of the entity, you could also have the house blessed, or you could try and ignore the entity fully and see if that will cause the entity to cease its activity
