i've been with him for six and a half years we've just moved into a new house and he's taken over my job of looking after the kids and all the house work while i go to college and study to better myself for the family, he's also studying to better his self and being the handy man and decorating the whole house. what is so wonderful is he doesn't moan about a thing all he'll ask for is a couple beers to say well done for a great job.

  1. Sounds just like my husband! We're really lucky to have this! Mine works all the time while I go to school. He cleans house and takes care of our son. He actually adopted my son, and he's been helping me out with him  since he was only 6 months old! We were best friends, then obviously it turned into something else. But, he goes completely out of his way to make sure that our son is happy and I am happy. I try to get up and do housework, but he insists that I relax because I'm due to have another boy next month. He's SO SWEET, too! He never disrespects me at all, and he's the funniest person I have ever met! So, all he asks for is a couple of beers and time to play Madden '09 on the Xbox. Oh, and time with our golden retriever...

Men like this are definitely one of a kind!!

  2. Congrats!

Great guy.The only thing is try to give him milk or some energy drink instead of beer so he can work some more. Besides if he work so hard ,he gets a lot of beer from you it can lead to alcoholism.

    Good luck

  3. Thats so great. My fiance is a lot like that. He works two jobs from about 6 in the morning until 11 at night some days, some days not as much but most days he does, so I can go back to school stay at home with our baby girl. And he helps out around the house, doing dishes and cleaning up, and helping out with the baby, plus i'm pregnant again so he makes me dinner when he can. It's great to have great men huh?

  4. You are very lucky Sharne  - make sure you always treat him well as there are certainly not a lot of decent men out there..

I know, I always draw the bad ones..

  5. I think you'll end up having an affair with someone at the college.

  6. sounds like one in a million to me, defo a keeper.

My husband is usually pretty good as well... although he had a moment last night that I am still upset with him about - so I am not in the mood to boast about him now - LOL.

I agree with the above answer about Husband Training - there are alot of stupid selfish men out there!

  16. I don't like to sound conceited, but my hubby and I have being together for almost 7 yrs of marriage,we have 4 kids (his, mine & ours) with our ups and downs but still together,we are paying our home,he also have put some of his imagination to decorate the house specially outside, we owe our cars and he has a good job & he is getting a masters too & I am back in college finishing what I start, plus he helps with chores, and helps with the kids too, plus even help me with my homework & we go out twice a month to have fun just the two of us, we have a solid relationship full of trust and communication too, and I love to spoil him everyday with the things I know he loves not only food but many others and in bed to. SO LUCKY US  to have one of the few men that are still out there that DO love their wife, kids and enjoys being married.Take good care of him there only few of men's like ours.
