ok. Well i am 13 and I was with my cuz all last week and we called her neighbor and we were talking and he was with his friend and he is 15 and me and him started talking and we exchanged cell numbers and i have never met this guy in person before. So like we have been texting for like 4 days and he is like i really want to see you and i wish you could come to the movies with me and stuff and my mom like keeps flipping out on me. And he seems like a really sweet guy. She is like quit talking to him you haven't met him and i couldn't sleep last night after what I read that he texted you. Is she overacting??? Or do think it is a dangerous situition and I should stop talking to him????

  2. well what did the text say and I dont think she over reacting.

  3. well no not overreacting  bt a little i mean shes a mom what do you expect bt what did he send that she read?? and i think you should first see the guy dont fall 4 him see him in person bcuz a person could b one way tru texting bt another in person so yea slow it down

  4. Your mom is being perfectly normal.

I think maybe you can still text him but don't pour everything out to him, because that is extremely dangerous. You have no idea how bad these "never seen before but good friends" things get. Maybe you guys can meet if your cousin is there with you two.

  5. well.. what did he text you that your mom read?

i dont think she is overreacting she is just worried about you shes your mom and she doesnt want you to get hurt.

i dont think its dangerous just dont be stupid about it..

if u go to meet him go in a group..

  6. It is hard to say without knowing what he has said. If he is already coming onto you without ever having met you then I would be worried too. If he is just talking like friends then I would say it is probably ok. Maybe you could have him over to your house when your mom is home so that she can meet him too. Don't sneak around behind your mom's back though because if something does go wrong you are going to be in a predicament.

  7. You need to watch more Lifetime movies with your mom.  Then you'll understand - there's a big, scary world out there, your mom knows it, time to listen to her!

  8. well im sure ther is a reason ur not telling that your mom doesnt like the situation alot of moms can tell when something isnt right... and if u must maybe u should go 2 the movies with a group of ppl and invite him...

  9. It can be pretty dangerous.

Think about it,you're only 13 and you've never met him and you want to go the movies with him.
