When I say this I mean as a once in a while treat.

  1. Mice for pets should have pelleted feed from the pet store formulated for rodents. They may also have seeds of all sorts - millet, sunflower, corn... Also occasionally they may have peanuts - unsalted! For treats (like once a week!) they can have nearly anything you eat... crumb of sugar cookie, graham cracker, even cheese... Offer fruits and veggies on occasion...

But don't give them these treats often or you will get obese mice very fast!!! Keep your critters happy...don't let them get fat!

  2. If you mean eating only bread i would say no because mice need a more complex diet with more fibre. You should buy some good quality mouse feed and supplement with fruit and vegetables. You can give them some treats of human food but sparingly or else it will get porky.

  3. As a treat, bread is perfectly OK. Don't make this their treat ALL the time, though, they love variety. Cheerios, veggies, nuts, fruits, etc. all make great treats (fruits and veggies you should definitely give them every few days at least). But it's perfectly safe for them to eat, if that's what you mean.
