Do you think my plan to stop an annoying telemarkter from calling every single hour of the day worked?

just a few minutes ago, they called and i was completely annoyed since it was like the 398593 time today.

So i answered it, put the phone next to my computer speaker, and played Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley.

Anyone think they're still gonna call?

Of course they will, until you talk to them and ask to speak to a supervisor. Tell them that if they don't stop you will file harrassment charges against them. They will stop then. Just be sure to get the name and phone number. Document the date you asked them to stop. If they don't then file charges, they are breaking the law.

Save yourself some time and simply use caller ID. The service has been available in most markets for over 10 years. Set up your service to reject private calls.

Move on to your next problem.
