For missing to much days? My school sent home a letter sayign that I was on probation and if I miss another day I will be kicked out. I'm not going today because I have a fever. They sent these letters out to other kids last year and they missed about 3 days after it and never got kicked out. Do you think I will get kicked out or is it just something to make you worry and not miss more days of school.

  1. They just might kick you out.  If you are really sick go to the doctors to get excused.  I would also call the school and see what they say.  I do know people who go kicked out for skipping too much.

  2. If you are already on probation you were probably informed about possible consequences of any further  skipping. I think you will have to try to get a doctor's note and a letter from your parents stating you were home sick.Do not count on the fact that students were not kicked out last year  after their warning, this year they may take a tougher attitude towards discipline.Just wondering who do you really think you are hurting in the long run by skipping? An education is your key to the future, without one you will never get to experience a better life.Keep in mind it never looks good on any job resume to say you were kicked out of school for chronic absenteeism.

  3. There is no excuse for you missing so many days of school (unless you're in the hospital). If you are genuinely sick and have doctor's certification you won't get kicked out, but if you're lying and have a bad record you should get kicked out.
