Do you think my sis in law waiting 6 mo to even treat her cancer is crazy ?

she has breast cancer and its treatable but she is in denial and hasn't done anything but go from doc to doc to doc to doc... How do we help her..we have tried everything.

She needs to get this taken care of right away.  Maybe it is because she doesn't like to go to the docs alone.  It can go from nothing to something very quick.  And if the location hurts she is further than she thinks.  It never hurts to go to early but it will hurt if she goes to late.

What a sad situation. If she is a religious person, perhaps her pastor can talk to her.

My twin sister died of breast cancer for the sole reason she waited too long to be seen by a doctor. Her husband didn't work half the time and she worked a full-time job but she still couldn't afford it. The family never knew about her situation until it was too late.

Your sister-in-law is afraid. She wants to hear something else and she's searching for a doctor that will give her another diagnosis. Where is her husband?  If he is around and not pushing her to see a doctor, then it's a very sad situation. What about her mother or her relatives?  Can they talk some sense into her?  

Unfortunately it sounds as if you've already done all the persuading you can do.  You cannot not legally MAKE her go to the doctor. My suggestion is to pray, pray, pray.

Explain to her that she can begin treatment with one doctor and still continue to get other opinions. The important thing is to start treatment.

she needs to get it treated before it gets to bad, this is serious stuff , she needs to wake up and smell the coffee.
