Do you think my sixteenth Birthday will be a disater?

This girl said she couldn't go when we were going to the pool, but now that we are going to the movies she can all of a sudden go. I would have been fine with it, but she just let me know, and the party is today.

The problem is car space my moms car can hold 5 people. The driver, shotgun, and 3 in the back. Which means 5 people in a 3 seater is not ggoing to be pretty. What should I do, because i know someone will be complaining.

Ask the other girl not to come. Tell her that because of the short notice, you didn't make plans for her so it won't work out. Apologize, but be firm enough that she doesn't think she can tag along.

Next year, set an RSVP date. And stick to it.

Well if this girl said that she couldn't come and now she has said she can come and your party is today and you don't have space in your car, tell her that she can either meet you there and make her own way back, or she can't come.

It's not fair on you, your mum, or your other friends if this girl squeezes into your car.

Offer her the option of going if she can provide her own transportation. She didn't do you right by waiting until the last minute, so the burden should be on her the get herself there.

But, a disaster? No. Just enjoy yourself with whomever comes with you. It's your birthday!
